Victory Riveted Tank Overlays

This is a scratch aid etched brass overlay allowing you to modify the Planet Industrials Kerr, Stuart 'Victory' in OO gauge to represent the riveted tanks later fitted by the GWR.

The etches simply fit in place over the plastic body shell. The front tank corner needs carefully filling and smoothing to a square profile after the etch has been fitted.

No additional detail parts are provided but we recommend the GWR safety valve bonnet from Wizard Models (https://www.wizardmodels.ltd/shop/locomotive/mt331/) or from 247 Developments (https://www.247developments.co.uk/loco_detailing.html) part SV8 and modellers may also wish to replace the dome with a GWR pattern from the same supplier part DO1.

If you're buying a Victory to Swindon-ise we recommend the plain black livery as a great base for modification work.
